Very. From our electricity provider to our road emissions to our packaging, we’re committed to actively minimising our environmental impact. Here’s how:

• All of our product packaging comes from renewable resources and is recyclable and home compostable. We use paper products that are FSC or PEFC accredited, unbleached and uncoated. We preference working with local businesses with environmental management systems such as ISO accreditations and carbon balancing wherever possible. All of our packaging is printed locally with vegetable-based inks. The boxes we use for retail deliveries are manufactured right here in the north.
• Our retail delivery service is restricted to our local Preston and Thornbury area as a way of reducing our road travel emissions.
• We operate an energy-efficient bakery that uses 100% carbon neutral electricity, and runs a solar power energy system.
• Organic waste is composted on-site and used to nourish the Wildwood grounds gardens. Excess is composted via our council green bin system.
